North Shore Youth Athletic Foundation Donates to Kahuku High School Golf Teams

3.19.2008-- North Shore, Oahu - Members from both the Kahuku Boy and Girls Golf teams were on hand Wednesday to receive $3,000 from the North Shore Youth Athletic Foundation (NSYAF).  This check will be used for the teams to cover expenses including shirts, balls, bags, and uniforms.  This is the third year the foundation has provided funding to the Red Raider Golf Teams.  Turtle Bay Golf also provides both teams complimentary access to practice and play along with professional instruction.

President of the NSYAF, Matthew Hall, PGA Director of Golf at Turtle Bay was present with other Board members, Larry Keil and Kevin Carll for the presentation.  “Supporting youth athletics on the North Shore is the primary mission of the Foundation,” comments Hall.  “And we could not be more pleased to assist with the success of the Kahuku Golf Teams”, continues Hall.

Created in 2006, the North Shore Youth Athletic Foundation is a 501c3 organization that promotes fair play, teamwork, and life skills through sport while developing young men and women both physically and mentally.  It does this through financial assistance, equipment donations, educational seminars, and scholarships.  For more information please contact Matthew Hall by emailing TurtleBayGolf@hawaii.rr.com or by phone at 293-8574.
